Help Tethering Samsung Galaxy Europa

Hi - I've just upgraded to 2.2 via Kies and would now like to tether my phone. I read it was easiest to tether via PdaNet but when I went to install this app on my phone, it said my phone wasn't compatible.

Am I missing something? Is there a way round this, or is there another app I can use to do the same job. (Ideally a free one)

I have never used an app, I just drop the usb in the pc. and go to settings

No need for an app:

Settings > Wireless & networks > Tethering & portable hotspot

Either use USB tethering or Portable Wi-Fi hotspot, depending on how you want to connect

my phone does not have the Tethering $ portable hotspot showing, It is a GT 15500 Firmware 2.1-update1 Kernal version 2.6.20-perf root@se-5609 #1 When I try to connect to kies it is not found
