Help Tethering Xperia S to Nexus 7

Does anyone know how I do this?

In the past I was able to tether my Xperia X10 to my daughter's Transformer Prime nice and easily, but I can't work out how to do this between my Xperia S and Nexus 7.

Is there any way using built-in software, or do I need to download an app from the store?

Thanks.

I think this will be hard to answer considering many people won't own an Xperia S and a Nexus 7.

OK, well, let's just make it more generic. How do I tether my Xperia S to any Android Tablet?

I'm sure that on My Xperia X10, in the Wireless and Networking settings, there was a tethering option, but I haven't found this on my Xperia S

when you go into settings and click more is there not an option for setting up a portable wi-fi spot...is this what your looking for?..i've never done it to be honest but i'm guessing?

Yes! Thanks.

Under settings is a 'More...' option. Selecting this gives, among others, a tethering & Portable Hotspot option. and from here, I can set up a Portable Wi-Fi hotspot.

I knew it was there somewhere!
