Help Tethering

I'm at my mother's with no Wi-Fi spots. Does it make difference if I use Pdanet+ or Verizon? Is there any way to save on data? Other than the otherwise obvious not being on facebook all day. I usually just use Google a few times a day but I like playing GolfStar. Thanks guys. I was using pdanet and was surprised it was using data? Thanks in advance guys

All tethering does is allow your data to be shared with other devices and counts against your monthly plan. Not a way around it.

So there's no point in pdanet just use Verizon's? thanks for the answer

Verizon usually charges $10 extra per device that has access to your data plan if you have the Hotspot feature turned on thru them. Tethering apps will sometimes let you get around the fee but no hiding the data used.
