Accessories Tetra XWAY question

Hi all,

I'm thinking about purchasing the Tetrax XWAY for a vent mount in my car. The mount requires a metallic node be stuck to the back of the phone. My question is, does this metallic node stick well to any surface?

I ask because I'm using Verizon's red-black gradient case. I'm not sure exactly why type of material it is, but the last thing I want is to buy this mount and find out the adhesive on the metallic node doesn't stick to the case.

If any knows, please post.
