Hi there,
I have just upgraded from a low spec Galaxy Ace to an S3.
I am very pleased with the phone, but one thing I miss is the appearance of visual alerts on receipt of text messages.
On the galaxy Ace I had a red Icon appearing on the 'sleep' sign on screen to warn of an unread text.
On the S3, I have to activate the phone and check the text icon to see if there are any unread texts.
This is not a great issue, but I wonder there is a setting which may overcome this, or possibly an App?
