I'm new to the forums so pleeeeeease forgive me if this question has already been asked/answered!
I recently bought a T-Mobile G1 (with Google Android 1.6) that was rooted with a CyanogenMod 4.2.15.1, if that information is useful to my question.
Whenever I get a text, my "regular" ring-tone (like, as if somebody is calling me) immediately goes off right after my text message notification. I've checked and re-checked all my sound settings to see if I had missed something, but I don't think I have. Can somebody please help? It's so annoying hearing a minute long ringtone whenever I get a text (especially because I can't really turn it off, unless it's on silent mode)!
