Hey has anyone had this problem? I was setting up an email account and it wouldnt access server so i put the phone to sleep with it still on the password screen, so when i tried to wake my phone from standby half an hour later it looked like it was waiting for me to enter a password to log into my phone,. i could see my background as you do when you long press to get to your main screen. but it wouldnt let me long press and it was only a text box and at the bottom of my screen it had Dial emergency - metro pcs. and would not let me get past that point like it was soft bricked but i could press restart or shutdown etc but it would still not let me long press to access my phone... anyway i ended up having to boot into recovery and use my latest backup to get back to normal... all is well now but that was a weird thing to have happen. maybe a glitch with the system by putting the phone to sleep while its waiting for a password in your mail app? also i never set up an actual password to log into my phone..i just use the long press.
