Text Message, email, etc notifications

I recently jumped ship from using 3 different generations of iPhones for the past 7 years to the Samsung S6 Edge. I'm a little overwhelmed but determined to use it to the full ability.

I have only had the phone a couple days, but there are some things that I would like to do that I'm not able to figure out how.

First, when I receive a text message on a locked screen, I would like to be able to see who it is from but hide the content of the message. Is this possible?

Secondly, I don't want any notifications coming to the screen (locked or unlocked) when I get an email. I get to many emails from a number of different accounts. The phone goes off constantly.

Third - I will get a notification, for example facebook. I see it on the lock screen and when I unlock the phone to do something else and lock the phone again, the notification is still there at the lock screen. Is there a way to make it so that once you unlock the screen, the notifications go away completely?

I'm not looking to turn my 'droid into an iphone, but there are somethings I did liked about it in terms to notifications. I didn't like the limitations and that apple was always steps behind the android.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm sure I will have plenty of more questions, but I'm trying to do research before asking a ton of questions.

First- Yes, go into "Settings" "Sounds and Notifications" "Notifications on lock screen" and switch it to Hide Content.

Second- Same path, "Settings" "Sounds and Notifications" but then go to "App Notifications" and go down to your email app and you can choose to Block notifications entirely or just hide content on lock screen.

Third- I'm not sure if you check the notification or not in between. If you don't, it will stay as a sticky notifications. Just swipe to the left and it'll go away from the lock screen.
