Help Text Message Gobblygook

This doesn't happen all the time but it happens enough and its beginning to bug the SHEET outta me.
The messages seen in the pic are not urls, they are just plain ole SMS text using handcent.
This also happened while using the stock SMS droid app, before and after rooting.
Any suggestions?

This was happening to me, or rather when I'd send a message to my wife. I was using handcent, and she was using the default messaging app that came on the phone. sometimes she would get a text that was all garbled. I finally just uninstalled handcent and went back to the stock app. Haven't had the problem since. I don't know a solution, but I just wanted to let you know you're not the only one.

We both use handcent, mainly because we were trying to debug another issue she was having where she'd send texts that wouldn't go through.
