Text message notification banner on lock screen

On my Note 4, when I receive a new text message, I get a notification sound but there is no notification banner that shows up on my lock screen. I am coming from a stock Galaxy S3 which used to have a banner previewing the text message on the lock screen. On the Note 4 I am using the stock Messaging App. Is there a way to get this preview banner on this phone similar to the S3? I have to unlock the phone and then look to see if I have a new message Icon in the notification bar. It was nice to be able to glance at the lock screen to see any new messages and a preview of their content. Thanks!

Messages-->Menu Button-->Settings-->Notifications

Thank you. In the interim I found the settings. I had to drag in from the left side of the screen from with the Messages. There was a setting there that allowed for pop up notifications on the lock screen.
