Text Message Notification

When I received text messages up to a couple days ago, the message icon on the lock screen with show a number indicating how many unread messages I have. All of a sudden, it does not show on the lock screen anymore and I have to go into the phone to see that notification.

I tried going into the messaging settings but there is no actual setting to turn that on or off. Anyone have any idea why that is. I could swear it worked a couple days ago. Funny thing is if I miss a phone call, it shows a 1 on the lockscreen, but messaging does not show anymore for some reason. Any help would be great.

Did you make the lock screen a live wallpaper? That will change it sometimes. Try restarting your device if you haven't done that.

My lockscreen is not live but my home wallpaper is. I'll try to restart it.

Tried to re-start, changed the wallpaper and still a no go. Not sure why.

Setting -> Lock Screen -> Popup Note on lock screen

Is it checked?

BTW, I am iPhone user since 2008 too.
