Help Text message ringtones

I use to be able to set individual text message ringtones for each person on my in my contact list with my blackberry. I don't see any way to do that with the mesmerize, Does anyone know if there is a way to do this?

Download Handcent SMS app. It allows you to customize notifications.

This does not look like a bad program but I do not see where it will let me set individual text message ringtones for different members on my contact list.

Handcent, GO SMS, and Chomp SMS are all 3rd party apps that will allow you to customize the SMS settings to a much higher degree than you can with the stock app.

Download one (I'm using GO SMS now, I am liking it better than Handcent so far...) and try it out. They're free, so its only an investment of time.
