Text message sounds

[jcwphoto]

Is there a way to have a text message notification sound other than the stock G3 sounds? I'll a little tired of the "stock" sounds.

I've downloaded Nostalgic Phone and that works great as a phone ringtone. It would be great to be able to use similar tones for notifications for text messages.

Thanks in advance!!

Sure, you just need to go into settings while in your preferred text app and change the notification sound there.

Download Zedge in the Play Store for a ton of notification sounds.

If you have your own MP3 or WAV files, you can copy them to your notification folder on your phone and can select those, too.

this goes for all apps with notifications it will use the default on if you dont change it but when in any app that has a notification hit the menu key than settings than there will be a notification sound specific for that app change it in this menu
