Hey gang,
I was wondering if anyone has heard whether or not they've fixed the VERY annoying bug (instead of trying to say it's working as designed) wherein if one's phone is turned off or in airplane mode, any text messages received when the signal is reestablished display the received timestamp instead of the time the message was actually sent. My OG Droid, Droid 2, and briefly-owned Bionic all did this, yet I hear the complaint far less often from other non-Motorola Android devices. I don't see why dumbphones can do this with no problem but I've had to endure this with others for a good two years now. I work in a secure building and must turn off my phone for 8 hours per day, so this is very frustrating. Thanks!
