sorry to be a pain in the neck, i have a samsung gt-i5800 which i have just updated to froyo 2.2. my problem now is that i can receive text message but when i try to reply (or compose a new message) i get the message "sending failed", this is using the standard messenger. assistance appreciated.

Sounds like you may need to do a factory reset.

thank you, i have now discoverd another problem, as i said i have upgarded to froyo 2.2 and all seemed fine but suddenly i cannot connect to my bt home hub, it just keep flashing that it is obtaining IP address, i was enjoying the upgrade but looks like i may need to downgrade again. assistance as always appreciated.

another one i am having is the barcode scanner, everything worked fine now i get a message about no ID passed with URI

Again, you need to do a factory reset. Sounds like the update didn't install correctly. A factory reset will fix this.
