Text messages ordered by date

Hi! This might be a subject that's been dealt with before but I'm having trouble finding any help so far by googling or searching forums.
I'm trying to find an app that allows me to scroll through my texts by date rather than by person. I try to keep a diary once in a while and I like to go back through my messages to see what I was doing each day. Searching through every conversation for the right date is painstakingly tiresome.

The standard texting service on my phone has very few options so I've given up on that. I've tried Go sms pro too but can't seem to find an option for what I want.

It seems odd that this is such a difficult thing to do? Anybody out there know an app that will solve this issue?
 
Hi christurphy, and welcome to Android Forums :)

I can't address the specifics of your question, but I can suggest an application that may help. Friday aims to be an automatic journal; it lets you easily see when and where you did certain things, and should be able to let you review what messages were exchanged on a given date (or in a given location, or while listening to a particular song, etc - it's quite powerful!). Thanks guys. Pansai is exactly what I needed.
I tried Friday but it didn't seem to register all my past texts and pictures and required me to sign in to google everytime. I like the concept, shame it didnt work out.
