text messages with pictures

Hi...No matter what I do, I receive message with pictures from my family, whom have all different carriers, Verizon, at&t, T-Mobile... you name it, I have straight talk... in any event... they send messages with pictures, I hit the download button, says downloading, and then a message comes up and says that it is unable to download picture. If you tap the message then hold on it, the only choices that appear are delete, lock, details, the details are where it came from and how big. The phone I am using is the Android note 2, padphone. I am at my witts end!!!

Welcome to AF!

The most common problem that can cause something like this is if your network data is not enabled and you are just using Wifi.

So I would suggest ensuring your mobile data is on, and that you can in fact brows with it. If you are still are unable to receive the pictures, I would suggest contacting straight talk to see if there is a network issue.

There might be an issue if the phone isn't one directly from them, may be a set up issue.
