HI,
So we have had the Galaxy s20 plus for about 3 weeks now. I am having an issue with delayed messages coming thru.. have been thru all the settings with a Rep over the phone and even had my sim card changed out in the store etc.. etc... anyone else experiencing this? Phone or carrier issue ? any feed back would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Hi ocnbze,
Well at first I thought that. But it happened yesterday to another Android user that text me. As far as the iPhone users it's there a way of fixing that that you know of?

To help with the possibility of a carrier issue, can you tell us what carrier you are on? And is it all messages, or do some come through normally (and if so, is there a pattern to which, e.g. certain users)?

Hi,
We have Sprint. It does not happen all the time. Just here and there. Different people whether they're Android or iPhone. I am even at home when this happen.
Sometimes incoming calls go to voicemail as well. I'm leaning towards the Carrier?

Is it completely random? And I have no faith in Sprint, but I will say, I get sudden back connection and internet speed dropping off with this phone, and I never did before. Now, you could argue that EVERY cell tower is stressed tot he max due to everyone being home 24/7, so I haven't wanted to blame Samsung just yet.

An interesting experiment would be to switch to Google Messenger, then activate the web portal for it. Even though it requires your phone to be on have signal, I consistently get notifications on my PC WAY before they pop up on phone.

Hi Bounty Hunter,
Well I would agree with you as far as the overloaded tower's due to everyone at home. But unfortunately the issues started before the " stay at home" was issued.
What we did do this past week is have the phones replaced. Let's see if the issues are resolved. One can only hope. Thank you for your input.
