Text messaging app

I am looking for a text message app to use for group messaging. The stock one does group messages but when others reply you don't see their name so you have no idea who replied. I have tried Chomp but it has the same problem. Tried GO SMS but everytime I exit it takes you straight to an ad. I don't want to pay to upgrade if I can find a free one that does not have exit ads.

So do any of you have a messaging app that shows the name of the replier in group message that you like?

I installed this yesterday - despite the supposed queue [line] to activate it. It's now live. Now I have to decide what to do with it.

I do believe all users have to have it installed for it to work. This is why I did not install it. Still looking for a good messaging app.

I have not used the group feature but on other phones I've seen many people recommending Handcent specifically mentioning that it does group messages.

i use go ex sms all the time i dont get ads but i also use it for all my text messages
