I'm looking for some current suggestion on a text messaging program. I looked at several of the popular ones and many had some recent negative reviews for one reason or another.
I get a lot of incoming text notifications, often the little portion of the text that flashes on the top of the status bar is enough to tell me what I need to know, often making it unnecessary to tap through and read all the messages.
A text program that has "Mark all as Read" or similar would be wonderful. I rarely text out, so care little about those features. Texting is more like a notification system for me, where I just want to see that little message in the top menu, then clear it off.
