How do i turn on the notification light? Had it on all my previous droids. Just got this turbo last night and cant figure it out. Even downloaded handscent sms and set up the notification light color and still dont see it when i get a missed call of text etc.

Also holding the phone screen facing me once in a while i see 2 very faint dim red lights on the top right corner and bottom left corner of the phone. What are these they come on and go off randomly.

Last question, the screen lock time clock keep fading on and off my screen when the phone is not in use. How can i get it to stay off? thanks

The screen lock time is where the notifications are now. There are no lights. Your text and missed call notifications are now seen through the moto app, which is the one that fades in and out.

To add to this, the notification LED was replaced by Moto Display, which is in the Moto app. You can choose which apps will show a notification, but the basic idea is to "breathe" the display with an icon showing which apps have shown a notification since the last time you turned on the phone, rather than flashing an LED light.

Those are infrared sensors. If you wave your hand over the phone, it will show the Moto Display if it has timed out, and I believe that you can also wave to send incoming calls to voice mail or silence alarms.

That's the Moto Display. When you have no unread notifications, it "breathes" occasionally with a lock icon that you can drag down to unlock the phone without pressing the power key first. You can turn it off in the Moto app, if you really want to. However, as AvaMichele pointed out, this is the replacement for an LED notification light, and it is low power, so it has a very small affect on battery life - about the same as a blinking LED light.

There is a user's manual: https://motorola-global-portal.cust...414680708/redirect/1/filename/Droid_Turbo.pdf

The part about Moto Display and Assist (though brief) is on pages 11 through 13...
