Text msg settings - Long texts

Hey guys! I'm new to droid phones, and just got a Maxx. I love it so far, but I can't figure out how to change a text message setting. Here is my issue:

When I receive a very long text, the phone breaks it up into 140 character messages. Then the phone puts the first message last in the order I receive them.

I can't find a setting to change this. Any advice?

You should consider using a different text messenger program. The stock text messenger that comes with the Razr is pretty lame, and I am not surprised you are experiencing this bug. I would recommend using a better program, such as Handcent or Go SMS Pro. Both can be downloaded for free in the market. Once you have decided which you prefer, then just turn off the notification for you stock text messenger (in settings), and you can use the new program as a dedicated (default) messenger.

I have used both programs alot, and am using GO SMS right now. There are tons of themes to try and find what you prefer. And you wont get long messages in reverse order...
