Text Notification Number

Hello all,

I just received the Razr Maxx and let me first say that this phone is phenomenal. So much better than my old HTC Thunderbolt...

Now, what this post is about...Whenever I get a new text, I get the notification in my notification bar like normal, but on the actual app on my home screen, no number shows up if I have a new message.

As shown in the image above, there is a number above the mail app..On all of my other android phones, this showed up. But for some reason, I can't get the number to show up above the text app with my new Razr Maxx..If anyone has any solutions please let me know!

is that a shortcut or a widget icon? If it is a shortcut see if you can add the widget instead.

Well I don't think there is a widget icon for the stock text app..I have tried to find it but I can't
