Text Notification

[pitbullmutt]

I was deleting a group of texts from my cousin when she sent a text to me. It deleted the text she sent but the notification is still there while the text is not. While not a big deal I can not get rid of the notification. Any ideas?

Clear the notification bar. What phone do you have? Samsung usually has a "clear" button on the notification bar.

I tried that. I still get the number above the messaging icon and the light is still on. Turned it off and on same thing. Pulled the battery also. No luck.

Try clearing the cache on your messaging app.

How do I do that?
