Text Orientation

Hi,
I am using a Samsung S-4 Active & an Asus TF300t. I have Excel files on my desk-top in Google Drive which I sync to the other two devices. All works fine except the text orientation in SOME parts of the docs on the desk-top is at 90

SOLVED on another forum!!

After doing some experimentation with three office apps for android (kingaoft, sheets, and QuickOffice) I now see that the problem is that none of them support vertical cell text at all. Likely this is a limitation in the way android apps can be coded

I do have a solution for you.
There is an app called Cloudon. It works in a completely different way than traditional android office suites. It uses data servers to present a real Microsoft office programming right on your screen with all of the commands being sent to these off site windows machines. This means you can have the original MS Excel functionality on your phone or tablet and as far as I know it is free unless you want advanced collaboration features. Definitely something to check out.

It looks like Microsoft has their own office for android which is still being developed https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...fice.officehub. I have never tried it so I'm not sure how much functionality is baked in.
