Help text stored on SIM

I'm totally new to smartphones. I have LG Lucid 840. It appears that I can save text messages to SIM card...but I cannot find any information how to do it. Only thing I find in the online manual says "Allows you to manage messages stored on your SIM card". What I need to do is transfer the text messages somewhere so I can print them. Any help out there?

Way to go on posting in the Introductions forum.. we love it when we find out right away in there what device the brand new user has; now I have moved your question to the Lucid sub-forum for helpful responses from other LG device users.

Have you looked into backing them up to your email and printing from there?
