What text can I use on the S4 where instead of typing I can write what I want to text. Or is there a way to use the text that came with phone and set it up to write instead of typing/swiping

Are you asking about a different font to change the looks of what you send?
Not sure you can change them on the stock sms app. You may have to install a 3rd party app and/or font packages from the play store.

It sounds like to me you are looking for an S-Pen type app like you would have with a Note 2. I haven't heard of anything that foots that particular bill, but something may exist.
