Help text

my account says 1117 min, 0 text , 1098.9 datamb have not contacted tracfone .
I'm not sure what that means as far as your account in good standing, sorry as I'm not familiar with prepaid plans (work issued device :) )
What I'm getting at is, does tracfone see that you are paid up in order for service to continue with your device?
Can you make phone calls and browse the web? Is texting the only issue you are having issues with (and that message)?

I buy a card with so many minutes on it and install it in phone. I presume these android phones work differently from other Tracfones I have had. looks like I need to add text but don't know how.

I guess I have to buy more minutes.

Not sure. Like I said, I don't know how that works but seems to me like if you can call people just fine, your texts should work. Perhaps it's an add on?

Maybe someone else who knows more than I do can chime in here :o
Sorry I don't have a definitive answer for you, but I'm glad to have you here in the forums!!
Good luck!

Nothing personal Joe but your reference to non-Android Tracfones made me shudder in horror. Last Summer a cousin of mine picked up a Tracfone LG3o5C, a pretty low-end model and mostly on a whim. We all thought it was a cute little thing but it didn't take long to realize appearances can certainly be deceiving. It wasn't of course Android, nor iOS, nor Windows mobile, it was a bizarre Java-based concoction of frustration. What looked to be typical phone desktop contained icons pointing to barely functioning apps -- something as fundamental is setting up WiFi was a confusing process of only occasional hits or misses; phone service was more reliable, but not by much.

FYI. I called Tracfone anf found out. If you buy minutes, they half and half to text and calls. You can buy text at 1000 for 10.00. Now I know.
