Help Texting and calling issue

Anyone having issues like this?

Sometimes when im trying to make a call or send a text it wont go through. mostly with texting. I can see on the 3 icon that it gets stuck on sending. I have to turn the phone of and on and then wait a few secs and try again. Not a full shut off but a quick tap of the power button. It is very annoying. started happening last week. I havent done a complete reset of the phone cause i dont want to go through the whole reinstalling apps thing. Just wanted to know if anyone has had this issue, dont know if it is software related or just my phone going to shit.

I have had this happen once to me. I just put the phone in airplane mode and took it back out and it came back.
 
its been happening with more frequency... starting to piss me off! it even happens with google voice as well
 
I used to have the issue but also uninstalled Handcent & then rooted.

Problem went away......but i don't think it is a Handcent issue but a ROM one
 
This problem has been happening to me since the first month I've got my phone... it starts with text message not being able to be sent.. then if I try to make a phone call it wont go through and it also take a long time to actually HANGUL too.... I got used to it but it still pisses me offoff
 
wow, i dont know what to think now that i see its a general issue? anyone receive there phone in the past week and having these issues? im wondering if its part of the early edition problems?
 
Had the problem with the call once powercycled and havent seen it since. I have the text thing happen occasionally but usually just copy and paste/ forward the message to the same recipiant to send again and it goes through. I have to delete the old message or it randomly gets sent hours or days later,
 
no issues with texting since getting rid of handcent. but i have still had a feww calling issues.

I have a sneaking suspicion that it may be a ROM issue......
