Help Texting Issue - One Lollipop(?) and One Mine

Issue #1 - I sent a text out to about 20 people the other day. I specifically unchecked the group message. It took the first half of the list and made it one group and the second half another group. It never did this with KitKat. Has anyone else run into this?

Issue #2 - I selected a person's land line number for their default text number. I cannot figure out how to change it to their mobile number. Can anyone help me out?

As far as Issue #1 goes, I can't help you out since I don't have 20 people to send a text message

I should be able to give you some guidance with Issue #2 -
1. Open "Contacts",
2. Select the name of the contact for which you want to change the default number
3. Next to their "Land Line" number there should be a blue check-mark, so you will want to perform a long-press (hold down) on the number
4. "Copy" and "clear default" should come up, so you will want to select "clear default"
5. Next time you send a message, you will be able to choose their mobile number as the default

I will see if I can experiment with the "grouping of messages" issue later.
