Texting on web browser..

So we are not allowed to use our cell phones on the sales floor at my job.
but i remember when i had my old iphone i had a program where i could Send and Recieve My Text messages from my phone and respond and without even looking at my phone from the web browser..

Was wondering if there as an anroid app that does the same so i can leave my phone in my pocket but still text on the computer..

You can use MightyText. This requires an active data connection on the phone via mobile data or WiFi, but it does what you want.

you could also try textfree. You can text from any web browser.
