Root Texting settings? New to Vibrant.

Hey guys! I'm new to the Vibrant. I messed it up somehow...And spent at least an hour trying to fix it...So here I am! Yay!
So the problem is, when I turn the screen to text on the side for the bigger font, it doesn't move. Stays in that lovely normal phone state. This may be unrelated...Or the cause. But I downloaded off of Android the Handcent SMS program and two of the additional font packs. I didn't like the app. So I deleted it. Im not sure if that affected the default messaging. Any ideas? I really don't want to reset the factory settings, but will if I have to. I'm going to look up this 'rooting' thing while I wait for some responses. I hope this is something I missed in the settings. (I did mess around a lot.)

There may be a setting that is keeping the screen orientation from changing. Might want to check that out.

Yeah...I was just about to reply that was the problem. I figured it out haha. And yeah itwas the auto rotation was turned off. Oups!

Haha yea your not the only one who was in the same situation with that being turned off. I have seen other people with that same problem but for me its on by default with any custom rom I install.
