Texting "shortcuts"

I've seen many pictures of iPhones having shortcuts for instance, setting it so that when you type eml, it will write your e-mail and when you write a word with a contraction, it will automatically add an apostrophe. Anybody know how to do this?

Menu, settings, language and keyboard, select your keyboard and press the settings button.

Most keyboards have an autocomplete list that you can edit, so just replace eml with your email address. You can do the same with the apostrophes.
