texting through gps

[kevster0522]

hello. I was just wondering if anyone knew of an app that lets you send text messages through your gps. I know there is one out there cause I had it before but I never had the chance to try it out so that would be great if someone could find it.

Are you sure that wasn't SMS through GPRS?

If you are trying to say texting through the internet than "Google Voice" is the winner.

GPS is receive-only.

There are devices that will send SMS-like messages through a satellite (Spot) but it's not an Android device AFAIK.

To piggyback on prior posts: when I'm near wifi I use GV to route SMS through google to save money.
