Help Texts Being Forwarded to Email Unintentionally?

I just got the GS3 and am using T Mobile. Whenever someone now sends me a text message, a copy of this text message is also sent to my work email address somehow. Can't figure out how this would happen. It must be some buried setting somewhere in the Gmail/Android world where at one point I must have provided my work email address as an alternate way of contacting me if I lock myself out of my account or something.

I'm a little lost, can anyone please steer me in the right direction as far as changing this? I really don't need every text message filling my work email inbox. Thanks.

I'm not sure but there is an option on the phone under Exchange mail sync for SMS. I'd guess turning that off will stop this.

1. press "Email" icon
2. press Menu button
3. scroll menu to bottom and press "Settings"
4. press your exchange account to open settings for the account
5. scroll to the bottom and look for "Sync SMS"
6. uncheck "Sync SMS"
