So I got the G6 as a personal phone after having only a work phone for years. I told contacts my new number and told them delete my old number. I am having an issue where I am getting texts from people now as SMS emails. I can text them normal but when they reply I get their response as a Gmail, which has their name and (SMS) next to it. I also get their response as a text to my work phone number, but there is no name, their contact #'s are incorrect and they said they deleted my old number so this phone should no longer get them.
Did I maybe set something wrong in my setting? It doesnt happen for everyone. The people that it happens to I dont have anything in their contact profile except their cell, no emails or alternate contact methods so not sure why. Maybe it's a problem on their end?
