Hi, I'm in England and have a Motorola Razr MAXX on the T-Mobile network. A recent update has put me on ICS. Coincidentally, around the same time, my phone started converting text messages to mms after only 40 characters. T-Mobile say it's not them but have already refunded me some money. Motorola chat advisor couldn't help and has referred me to the tech team, that was 4 days ago and I haven't heard back yet. The Just Answer web service couldn't find a solution either.
The only thing I can find in settings is that the telephone number quoted in About Phone is different to my ported-over number. Not sure if that's relevant or important.
So, simply, has anyone got a cause for this and a solution?
I'd really appreciate some help because every text message is costing me! Although as a solution to that I'm using the Handcent app.
