Texts from Twitter

Now that I switched from a blackberry to this Android phone will I still be able to receive text from twitter when ever someone that i am following posts something new? If so how do I set that up on this phone.

I didn't realize this phone would make me feel so unknowledgable.

If you have texts from twitter set up to be sent to your phone, you should not have to set that up again, as I don't think it is device specific. Alternatively, since this is such a customizable phone, you might try out some of the twitter apps from the market. Most have both free and paid versions, and can be set to notify you of new tweets. I am currently using Touiteur.
