Had my phone since January and now just noticed that if my texts go over about 3 pages, it turns into a MMS and getting charged 25p, rang Orange and the bloke said 'tell me about it, same happens to my phone', so even though I have unlimited texts I now can't send a message over 3 pages long - how rubbish is that! Any ideas? I hate my phone anyway, was thinking I could maybe ring Orange and say I was mislead when buying phone, no one told me I would get charged for texts that were too long! It's not as if I send 100's everyday either, only about 10 -15!! Anyone else have this problem and what did you do?

Over 3 pages! Do you know what SMS means? Short Message Service...
So it will only hold so much data before the phone turns it into an MMS Multi Media Service message.
My last 2 phones done the same and many years ago a text was only allowed 110 characters now its triple that, just write in short hand. Jst lke u usd 2 on oldr fnes lol

Download Handcent SMS app from the market, it has an option to prevent messages auto changing to mms. My plan is free texts but not free MMS so I also got stung to start off with!
Its in the apps Settings>Send Message Settings>Auto Convert to MMS and make sure that it is unticked.
