tf300t ???

I just got my new tf300t from frys for 399. Very happy so far.... well any way, am iin the right thread? Cuz i want/need root and cwm asap... but it looks like its not avalible yet, if im in the right area. I got ten days to mess up this thing before i cant return/exchange it. So lets get it done.

First, this belongs in the All Things Root subforum above.

Second, you can root the TF300 if you didn't install the update that it prompted you to install shortly after first receiving the tablet. No one knew this until yesterday though. I posted a link in the Bootloader and Root thread to the discussion at XDA.

Dang ... it updated the same minute I connected it to my wifi.... is there way to undue the update, or should I try to exchange it.... I posted it here because I was/am unsure if the tf300t is the same as the tf300

The TF300 and the TF300T are the same device.

As of right now, there's no way to go back once you've updated. Keep a check on the thread I linked to at XDA. That's where any developments will probably be posted first (at least until the TF300 gets its own forum there).
