Hi everybody! I have a very intriguing question about the android applications for language characters. I have read that others have had some similar experiences. I bought a brand new Cricket Android phone about 3 months ago and Im loving it so much. I like all the apps and things that this phone can do. I have downloaded several of the apps that not only fit my lifestyle but also main interests. As you can see by the title of this thread, I like languages. And naturally I downloaded a Thai English type dictionary application, a keyboard and some other fun things. And guess what? The installation was successful, but the icon failed to show up on some of them in my apps area and even more interestingly, the programs would not for some reason or another open up. Does anybody know the reason(s) for this? How do I get around this or get the programs to open up> I also study Hebrew and the same thing happened. The Hebrew keyboard downloaded successfully, but could not open it up. One more thing..in the Thai dictionary as well as the translation apps...if you want to translate from say English to Thai or English Hebrew, etc, the translation, shows up as boxes as does dictionary entries...the system is somehow unable to produce the characters. Im rather curious about all of this and would love it if I knew how to make it work...
LOL
Any information on this would be greatly appreciated....Make it a great day!
Thanks
Sincerely,
Radarlovegal....loving my Android!
