Thank you all!

Man, what a run! 3 years of scouring this forum, comparing ROMS and themes and Quadrant scores (LOL). Alas, all things end, and it seems that the Ally is no longer a hotbed for budget powerusers like it was. Indeed, there has not been a new ROM released in... forever. Not even the PMP versions alluded to and even promised. I myself have also moved on to bigger and better things, like the Xperia Play (it is SO nice), but i would like everyone to know that my deactivated Ally is still very much alive and kicking, with good ol' Velocity 1.2.2. It's my alarm clock now. As a consumer and one without the time or money to contribute, I would like to deeply thank everyone that ever tried to make a theme for the Ally, and specifically Trident, Savoxis, and Getnowmarketing. Your great effort made my day brighter, looking down at my phone and seeing a slick UI and playing games that much more expensive phones couldn't handle. I got such a kick when a new version of Bionix or StormDroid or Velocity was put up. As for project Gretel and others, I am also grateful for your contribution to the Ally. You might have gotten a few, a dozen or a hundred people to try it, but you prompted others to think about different UIs and themes. Once again, thanks guys. I had a great time.

If anyone is still visiting the forum intermittently, you can always find me where my heart is-in the Root section. I didn't write or compile these things but I can still help out to the best of my ability. To those who can ROM still, I can't ask anything more of you. If you happen to make one final ROM, I'll be first in line.

See you here and in the friendly forums at XDA-Devs(the XPlay section). Thanks again.

P.S. This sounds a lot like what I typed at HTCGeeks forum, about my Dell Axim X51v. That's still kicking too. If anyone knows what that is (yer all young'ns anyway) then PM me please. I'd love to talk with somebody that remembers the good ol' days.

Peace up. A-town down. D-Stein out.
