I just bought it last night online. I found a promo code for free overnight shipping so I used it. It will arrive tomorrow, Fedex called me via their automated system telling me the phone would be delivered tomorrow and that someone needs to sign for it. Yay! I'm so excited! Tee hee!
 
yeah maybe we can find a recovery.img to flash cwm onto this phone.....but the centura rooted with the poot debug apk method has been working pretty well for me i just cant figure out which program (and how to configure that program) i need to use in order to usb tether with my HP pav..........

I really like it so far. It seems like a very good phone. Seems a little slower than I'd prefer, for example when I open the dialer (it's kinda slow), so is the response when tapping the history button and the frequently contacted button. But once the dialer is open it's fine. It's only after it initially launches, for the first 10 seconds maybe.

I do NOT like that my phone will not allow me to move apps to the SD card with any app that helps with that process. Apparently it's set up that way that you can't move anything to the SD card, something about the way the SD card is emulated. *shrugs* That really ticks me off. So even if I choose to save screenshots and pictures from the camera (any camera app) to the sd card in the app's settings it still saves it to the internal storage. So every so often I have to manually move the files to the SD card. *grumble*

But other than that it seems like a great phone! :)
 
The way it sees internal storage might be fixable through a custom rom or kernel... hopefully some development starts soon
 
I've heard on another forum (android area 51) that they are already working on a custom rom and it should be released (for VIP members) in about a week, and 2 weeks later it'll be available for non-vip members. I'm not a VIP member so I have to wait a couple of weeks after it's released. If you want the link to the short discussion about it I can PM it to you. I don't know the policy here regarding posting other forum links.
 
I posted about their CWM in another thread, maybe we should go read the rules :D

Edit: finally found the rules through mobile app... seems you can post outside links if relevant but not just to advertise. I'm on mobile so if you wanna link it you should be okay :D
