Thanxgiving Leftovers

so i just made a turkey, stuffing, green bean caserole fried rice......it was so good.

what do you guys make with your left overs?

we save all of our bones and turkey carcass. i'm going to be making a turkey stew probably tomorrow.

Turkey casserole, turkey salad sandwiches, or turkey tacos and burritos normally. We usually make a repeat meal of our Thanksgiving dinner and then see what's left before we decide.

What is up with this greenbeans thing? Does it have anything to do with cranberry relish? My traditional Thanksgiving dinner is changing right before my eyes. I bet it's a GenX thing.

Green bean casserole is and has been a "thing" with my family forever. Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas family here.
I did not make it this year for I was only cooking for six. It's an easy dish to make and is complementary of the other sides enjoyed at Thanksgiving.

I put the vac on my remaining turkey last night. Tonight it's hamburgers for me. Next week one frozen turkey pack will become turkey salad. The larger of the two packs will be thawed at some date in the future as a mini turkey dinner for the wife and I. I'm glad that I purchased a smaller bird or there would be a third package to consume.

whats wrong with just green beans? i have made some green bean salads or even just greens, soy sauce and sesame for Thanxgiving before. i just love the French onions and was craving mushrooms....so i made the casserole.

They (green beans) don't fit my preconceptions of Thanksgiving.

Collard greens or spinach is what I expect. Green peas are acceptable as well. But what the hey, traditions do change.

Thanksgiving wouldn't be the same without green bean casserole. Personally, I don't like sweet potato anything nor candied yams.

ok so the last of the turkey is going to be a curry dish using green curry paste.......that's on the menu for tomorrow.
