That kinda confirms a Note 8

Don't mind me... I'm just popping in every once in awhile with a nugget of juicy news! Here's some right here:

While I can't vouch for the accuracy of this report, it would make a lot of sense for Samsung to offer a HUGE discount to former Note 7 owners: particularly those of us who went through TWO recalls. However, it makes no sense to only offer that discount to Note 7 owners who turned in their phones and bought a Galaxy S7. Like a lot of you, I'm a power user - a Galaxy S phone just doesn't do it for me.

I have emailed Samsung and inquired about a discount for Note 7 owners who turned their phones in but purchased another Galaxy Note device instead of a Galaxy S7. If I even get a response, I expect it to be very vague and nebulous... but if I can glean anything out of it at all, I'll let you know.

:)

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. My Note 7 continues to do the job for me that it was built for. Samsung talked big about caring about its customers, but its actions spoke much more loudly than its words. Samsung aimed to take care of Samsung first, above all else. As is typical of corporations, it failed to see that taking care of its customers above all else would have, in fact, been the way to take care of itself first, above all else. Such is life, I guess.

Well, that didn't take long to get a vague response back...
