The 2.3 update?

I have a simple question, does anybody know when the 2.3 update for the Optimus Black will come?

And also about that, how will this update be realised? Will it be Over The Air or do I have to install it myself?

(I haven't bought the phone yet, but I'm trying to think ahead and that's why I'm asking )

Been waiting for the updates since I had the phone 1 month back.

Wonder what is taking LG so long. Was told by the vendor that this LG P970 can be upgraded to 2.3, guess i fell into a pit hole.
