Is there going to be an Android based tabled type device? I'm kinda digging the other pad, but I don't want to give my money to You-Know-Who.

These things, iPad and aPad make me shudder.
Too simple to be an OS. But that's my opinion. It's an OS that's meant to be pocket-sized.

you should check out the Notion Ink Adam (Notion Ink - Adam - Overview ) It runs on android, has an A9 dual processors,multi-touch, camera, great battery life and you can turn off the back light.

Archos 5 and archos 7 are really impressive too. Up to 500 whopping gb of storage, hdmi out, able to use as a dvr, etc.

Im with IOWA. the archos devices are very tempting because of the combination of size and features.

we have dell streak at this moment which is hell lot usefull than ipad and no doubt many others are in the making.

The aPad or iRobot is produced by EKEN and it is called EKEN M003.
It comes with Android 1.6 but there are already some guys working on a new rom for it.
