The Amplify Tablet

Hello, i don't know much about these new amplify tablets that i got from my school to use. They are for the betterment of our education, but when i got to an educational website or any website with video outside of school the amplify restrictions kicked in and i had less freedom than at school. I think this is weird and i would like to see if i can bypass this for outside of school so i can learn ever more.

thank you in advance if you can find way to do this

Might be because the sites you're trying to view need Flash for their videos. To do that you'd need to install Adobe Flash along with a browser that supports it, like Dolphin.

I don't think that is the case because in school the tablets behave normally, but when outside the school's wifi it gives me the i'm sorry i cannot show you this it might have inappropriate content. Whenever i go on a site with video even the youtube app gives me the network issue pull up thing.

Sounds like a block on your Wifi.

It's one of these is it?
Amplify Tablet - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A modified version of Android with a restrictive firewall built-in. So it only allows you to view YouTube, etc, while on the school network, i.e. under their supervision, and nowhere else. As it's not your device, it belongs to the school, there's not a lot you can do really.

I'm interested in this kind of thing, because I am a teacher. :D ...but I wouldn't use Amplify myself, or anything that helps Rupert Murdoch.
