The beginning of the end for unlimited data?

i read the transcript from the conference call and they were basically eluding to capping 4G data on the mobile broadband plans is reducing the amount of money they have to pay clearwire which then frees it up for them to use for all the other stuff they need to spend it on. and since mobile broadband plans, for the most part, would be using more data then a non tethered phone it is saving them a ton of money.

Well that does make sense, maybe they'll burst onto the scene with unlimited LTE. Although very unlikely.

And this just in: Sprint blocked tethering apps from market ala Verizon style.

Sprint 3G Data (TJ)

Used 407,125KB / Unlimited
RemainingUnlimited

Sprint 3G Data Roaming (TJ)

Used 1,031KB / Unlimited
RemainingUnlimited

Sprint 4G Data (TJ)

Used 16,699KB / Unlimited
RemainingUnlimited
How is sprint going to show what data my unlimited phone data is, and how much is used by tethering (sprint Hotspot) which I pay for, and I almost never see 4-g or even turn the 4-g antenna on...go figure.
