the best 2d graphic program

i have only been able to make graphics in 3d so far. yes i learned the hardest thing first, but i want to learn how to make 2d graphics. what is the best software to make them? any suggestions would definitely help

If you don't mean pure CAD graphic then have a look at TouchDraw

Oh my god! I have that app I just didn't even think of that!! How would you save it to the png format though?
